In addition to our regular activities, The Meridian Society undertakes activities of a more special nature from time to time to further our aims. These include heritage projects on some aspect of Chinese culture and community and large outdoor spectacles for the education and entertainment of the general public. Grants from public bodies such as the Arts Council of England, Awards for All and The Heritage Lottery Fund, together with sponsorship and in-kind contributions from smaller arts organisations, enable these events and activities to involve local communities and have a direct impact on even wider audiences.
