Chinese Trench Art
Amongst the more skilled workers, some would pick up spent shells and engrave images of Chinese dragons and other traditional motifs for sale as trench art. Dr Dominiek Dendooven, historian and researcher at In Flanders Fields Museum, Ypres, shows us the museum’s own collection.
